Necklace

Necklaces are an ongoing experimental series, exploring 2-dimensional aesthetics. They are a small version of wall-hanging series.

They are inspired by tribal art, antiques, fossils, bones, driftwood, stones and rusty metal. The colours and textures have a beautiful patina created by layering different clays, slips and metal oxides.

Each necklace is made by connecting several individually sculpted geometrical or coiled pieces, hanging on a natural linen string.

Each necklace is handmade in my studio and one-of-a-kind. Small imperfections are celebrated as a part of handmade nature.

Measurements: ca. 12,5cm long and 5cm wide at the widest point
